Getting Ready for Halloween! We started painting pumpkins to place around campus.  We hope that the pumpkins will add pizzazz to the school.   We have many different designs, and we hope you will enjoy the work we have done.

Last Friday we sprayed for cabbage worms that had started to eat our broccoli in the garden by the music room.  This spray is organic and safe to use around students.  It is called BT spray.

On Thursday we are going to pick more lettuce and carve a pumpkin to get seeds out.  We will germinate the seeds and watch them grow.  We've also started cabbage, lettuce and cauliflower.

We are also going to be giving some plants away in the near future.  If you need Swiss Chard or lettuce, please Lettuce know!   - Allie and Lucy

Hello Greenhouse Blog Viewers! How are you today? We are planting things for the urban garden. Right now all we are doing is planting things for the community around us. It is plenty busy here. Also we have been working up in the greenhouse.   - Anna and Clara

Stay tuned for further announcements and pictures!  We are thrilled to be back up and running this year!

Tours of the Greenhouse!

We had a fabulous time hosting tours for our first grade classes.  Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades led tours through our greenhouse, conducted a taste test of vegetables that we have been growing, and read stories about plants.   Check out the pics below to see some of the action.
